“BOIL ADVISORY!”

 

A waterline break was repaired on Moody Ridge Road which also affected Short Brook, Burnfield and Schoolhouse Rd for Addresses 2187 to 3227. There will be a boil advisory for the following areas:

 

(Moody Ridge Rd, Short Brook, Burnfield and Schoolhouse Rd for Addresses 2187 to 3227)

 

This Boil Advisory is for the Little Hocking Water Customers located in these areas listed until further notice.

 

We always recommend that once repairs are made and the water service has been restored, as a precaution to safeguard the public health, for all water that is used for drinking, preparation of food, and/or washing of dishes, be boiled for a minimum of three minutes prior to use.

 

All boiling of water should continue until further notice from our office and posted on the website.

 

Little Hocking Water Personnel will be collecting water samples, and the results of the sample testing’s will determine when the boil advisory can be lifted.

WE HAVE BEEN NOTIFIED OF A WATERLINE BREAK IN THE FOLLOWING LISTED AREA(S). YOU MIGHT EXPERIENCE DISRUPTION OF WATER SERVICE, LOW PRESSURE, AND/OR POSSIBLE DISCOLORED WATER. ONCE SERVICE IS RESTORED, PLEASE RUN “COLD WATER ONLY” IN YOUR BATHTUB, IF YOU EXPERIENCE ANY DISCOLORATION!
