555 SIDE OF ROSS RD TO 555 PUMP STATION

 

The boil advisory that was posted on 8/28/2025 for these area(s) has now been cancelled.

 

Following the work on the water system, we collected water samples to analyze for bacteria, as recommended by the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency (OEPA).

 

We now have been notified of good results on the samples collected.

Boil Advisory

August 28, 2025

 

“BOIL ADVISORY!”

 

A waterline break was repaired on State Route 555 which also affected Schoolhouse Rd and Ross Rd. There will be a boil advisory for the following areas:

 

 

INTERSECTION FROM SCHOOL HOUSE RD TO 555,

555 SIDE OF ROSS RD TO 555 PUMP STATION

 

This Boil Advisory is for the Little Hocking Water Customers located in these areas listed until further notice.

 

We always recommend that once repairs are made and the water service has been restored, as a precaution to safeguard the public health, for all water that is used for drinking, preparation of food, and/or washing of dishes, be boiled for a minimum of three minutes prior to use.

 

All boiling of water should continue until further notice from our office and posted on the website.

 

Little Hocking Water Personnel will be collecting water samples, and the results of the sample testing’s will determine when the boil advisory can be lifted.

You might experience “Disruption of Water Service, Low Pressure and/or Possible Discolored Water.”

 

Our Little Hocking Water personnel is currently working on the getting all repairs completed so that your water service is restored as quickly as possible.
