Dear Ms. Houtman:
 
The Thursday April 15, 2004 article “C8 levels are up in new test” contains an inaccurate statement attributed to me. 
The article suggests, without directly quoting me, that I think there is no cause for concern because the new levels found in our well field are below those of a West Virginia document that establishes a “screening level” of 150 parts per billion.  That is not what I said or what I believe.  In fact, I believe there should be no C8 in the Little Hocking Water system.  We are working hard to achieve this result.
