NEWS RELEASE #6

U.S. EPA LAB TO RUN C-8 SAMPLES

On April 23rd the fifth round of samples was taken from our wellfield to test for levels of C-8.  Samples were taken from the four production wells, Test Well #4, and at the entry point to the distribution system.

The sampling team filled more sample bottles than usual at each location.  The reason for this is that a water sample from each location is going to be sent to the U.S. EPA laboratory in Denver, Colorado for independent analysis.  Another set of samples will still be sent to the Exygen Research lab in Pennsylvania, where all previous samples have been sent for analysis.

Up to this point the Exygen Research lab has been the only laboratory in the country that could test for C-8.   Results from the sampling are expected in a few weeks.
